Description

Swell Eco Lodge offers self-catering or catered accommodation, ideal for couples, groups and families. Set within the rolling hills of Mngcibe, the north side of the Mdumbi River.

The lodge comprises 2 sea view rondavels, 6 sea view duplex units and a luxury family/honeymoon rondavel. The traditional Rondavel structures blend into its beautiful surroundings and the interiors are modern.

Swell Eco Lodge has its own water supply directly from the land and makes use of water collection tanks. All guest amenities cleaning products used are eco-friendly. The lodge endeavours to upcycle as well as recycle all materials as far as possible.

On-site facilities include braai areas, Wi-Fi and secure parking. Nearby activities include fishing and bird watching.

Please note, our lodge is off the beaten track and you will travel on a gravel road to get to the lodge. You do not need a 4×4 to get to our lodge but a vehicle with higher clearance recommended. You can get here in a small car but you just need to take it very slow on the gravel. You can always call us to see what the state of the road condition is like at the time.
