Excellent host, Anna, friendliness and helpful. Complimentary Easter eggs, honey and lots more. Felt like home, stunning views, with a lot of dams. Kids enjoy it a lot, with our fur children also. Will definitely return.

We had a very relaxing time.

We stayed in Agapanthus Cottage. It was well equipped with all the cooking and braaiing equipment. It was clean and neat. Even when it rained, there were enough facilities to still braai.

A delightful getaway, everything about the place was perfect.

It was an absolutely delightful stay! A perfect getaway from city life. We stayed at the Agapanthus cottage. Please don't expect anything fancy, it is an escape after all. The cottage was clean, with basic toiletries provided as well as tea and coffee. It is all solar/gas powered. It's important to know there is no TV and microwave, also no internet connection - perhaps this is what I loved most about the place. My two dogs enjoyed themselves, very spacious outside area. The manager was very polite and checked up on us. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful farms, great fishing, great hospitality from Jens & Anna.

The lodge perfectly serves the needs and the farm is beautiful. We had an excellent week at Talbot. Dams are well stocked and fishing was excellent. I released 27 trout caught over five days, of which at least five were brown trout.
