Description
Tamboti Retreat is a lovely, 8-sleeper self-catering lodge situated in the Shona Langa Nature Reserve, approximately 55 km from Bela-Bela. The reserve boasts 29 game species and 140 bird species, as well as an array of activities to enjoy during your stay.
This fully furnished, spacious, double-storey lodge comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and open-plan living areas. The main and second bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds and 1 double bed. Both bath and shower facilities are available in the bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen contains appliances to cook meals, including a dishwasher and a washing machine for convenience.
The main living area leads out to the entertainment area, which boasts a swimming pool to cool down in, a bush braai and garden lapa area, as well as a patio with a built-in braai. In addition, the lodge contains air-conditioning and a TV with full DSTV Premium channels. WiFi is available.
Please note: No game drives are provided. The farm is a private nature reserve. We provide a map for guests to take with them when driving on the farm. All roads are clearly marked. There is a 25km per hour speed limit for the safety of the animals.
On occasion, guests will see our resident warthogs that love to come and visit the lodge. The farm offers much to do - game viewing, visiting the wetlands, fishing at the catch-and-release dam which has braai facilities; cycling and walks.
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
During load shedding, LED lanterns, a UPS for the Wi-Fi, and a gas stove and kettle are available for your convenience.
