Tandweni Villa is a unique, privately owned, modern self-catering villa set within the Pongola Biosphere Reserve and on the banks of the Jozini Dam. The villa offers some of the best tiger fishing, Big 4 game viewing and the ultimate bush luxury experience.
Tandweni Villa boasts panoramic views of Jozini dam and the Ubombo mountain range from every room. The villa can accommodate up to 10 guests and contains 5 luxury bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, 2 of which are en suite. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, and the fourth and fifth bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The main bedroom has a kids' room attached. All the luxury bedrooms have sliding doors that open up onto a covered patio with a lounge suite that flows onto the gardens. Each bathroom is fitted with either a bath or a shower, or both, and some en-suite bathrooms feature double basins and a toilet.
The kitchen, dining, and living area are open-plan and unique offering expansive open spaces with large glass doors and windows welcoming the outside in. There is a fully glazed sun lounge with couches, daybeds, a pool table, pin pong, and a darts board. This opens up and flows onto the swimming pool and pergola, creating a luxurious outside living space. The villa has its own boma to enjoy outside fires under the stars, a private well-equipped gym, a bird hide, and a jungle gym overlooking a small watering hole.
The verandah and pool area have endless views over the dam and up the Jozini Gorge making it the perfect place to relax and have a sundowner or read a book and enjoy the amazing birdlife and wildlife around.
The villa is fully serviced and has a private chef available for an additional fee.
The villa comes with 2 private guides for game drives, guided bush walks, boat cruises, and the famous Tiger fishing. Jabulani, the ranger, is amazing with kids and loves teaching them to fish and he makes sure game drives are child friendly and entertaining.
