Description

Tarentaal Lodge is situated on the edge of the tranquil country town of Albertina, and offers comfortable accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere. Albertina is not far from the N2 highway that leads through the picturesque Garden Route.

Accommodation is offered in 3 guest rooms with their own bathrooms. Two of the rooms have kitchenettes, each with a bar fridge, microwave and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The other room has a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a washing machine. Two of the rooms are free-standing rooms located near the pool area, and one of the rooms is connected to the main house and has a separate entrance.

The colonial architecture of the lodge is pleasant to the eye. There is direct access to the patio where guests can relax and watch the sunbirds having a drink, or sit back and enjoy the tranquil scenery. The bird life is abundant. Freekie, the Cape robin, might pay you a visit for a snack of cheese. Guinea fowl and partridges announce their presence in the garden, and you may hear the blue crane.

The lodge has a swimming pool, which is deal for those hot summer days. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement, and breakfast can be arranged at an additional fee.
