Situated on the hills of the Renosterkop, The Black Cuckoo is a modern self-catering unit for a family or group in Murrayfield. Surrounded by nature and frequented by birds, the unit is located on the ground floor of the main house and can accommodate 5 guests.
The unit has a private entrance and comprises 2 bedrooms that share the use of a bathroom with a bath and a shower. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a three-quarter bed. A baby cot is also available.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, and a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. A dishwasher, as well as a washing machine, is also available for use. The lounge is equipped with a TV, and the living area opens onto the private garden. Private undercover parking is provided.
Birds frequent the property, and guests will hear the lovely black cuckoo or spot the southern boubou. Guests will also be able to see dassies roaming at the border of the premises. The Black Cuckoo is situated in the heart of Pretoria and is 4 km from Life Faerie Glen Hospital, 5 km from Menlyn, 7 km from the University of Pretoria and 8 km from Mediclinic Kloof.
