The Chalet is ver weg van alles - en ek bedoel alles. Jy gaan waarskynlik nie ’n enkele mens sien tydens jou verblyf daar nie. Net mooi vistas van berge wat jou asem wegslaan. Daar was sneeu op die pieke toe ons daar was - baie spesiaal. Daar is nie elektrisiteit of WiFi nie en die selfoonsein kom en gaan. Hemels. Sonpanele sorg vir ligte in al die kamers. Die gasstoof werk goed en ’n enorme kaggel hou die hele plek snoesig warm. Just what we needed!

The Chalet is far away from everything - and I mean everything. You probably won't see a single person during your stay there. Just beautiful vistas of mountains that take your breath away. There was snow on the peaks when we were there - very special. There is no electricity or WiFi and the mobile phone signal comes and goes. Heavenly. Solar panels provide lights in all the rooms. The gas stove works well and an enormous fireplace keeps the whole place cozy and warm. Pack a small ax to chop the fireplace wood finer, because enormous pieces of wood are provided and village lads (like us) may struggle to make a fire with it. We had a wonderful rest, walked and read. Our dogs were out of their skins happy.
