The Cowshed is situated halfway between Lydenburg and Dullstroom, where the Highveld ends and the Lowveld begins. The farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in The Cowshed House, The Farmhouse, The Boarding House and The Honeymoon Tent.
The farm is situated amid the Steenkamp mountain range, and is ideal for events, weddings or weekends away. Cowshed House is designed around a central living and entertainment area, and can accommodate 8 guests. The house is situated next to a dam and overlooks a vlei. The Farmhouse was originally a working farmhouse, and can accommodate 7 guests. The Farmhouse boasts an expansive covered verandah for relaxation needs.
The Boarding House can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 double rooms. The Boarding House is ideal for large groups, and offers communal areas for a greater shared experience. The Honeymoon Tent is a luxurious tented suite situated on a teak deck overlooking one of the picturesque dams.
Organic and farm-fresh veggies are grown on the farm, ensuring that your event, wedding or weekend getaway is sustainably sourced by ordering veggies and herbs directly from the team to your table. The Cowshed is a shoes-off, feet-up kind of place, where every need is catered for with welcoming charm and dedication from the team.
