The R36 between Lydenburg and the farm is under construction. If at all possible, we recommend that guests travel to the farm via the N4 and Machadodorp in order to avoid this bad section of the road.

Farm life.

We stayed in the tented camp, in the cold and it wasn't an issue at all at night, the bed was one of the best we have ever slept in, warm, and no heater was needed through the night, very impressed. The camp is fenced off so the dogs can run around without stress. I loved the concept, the design and the overall feel, will be back. The road to the farm is currently under construction so be patient and drive slow (low clearance vehicles beware).
