Overnight stopover.

Our visit to Stutterheim and the Amathole District is mainly for birding, specifically for the Cape Parrot. The natural surroundings are beautiful. The hosts are very helpful.

Stay was great and enjoyed it, was not cold either as all was supplied.

Hospitable hosts, beautiful stay.

I arrived having booked the Kingfisher room but unexpectedly got very sick on my way to Stutterheim. The kind host upgraded my boyfriend and myself to their cottage which she felt would be more comfortable in my unfortunate state. The cottage was so beautiful, the gardens were gorgeous and I would absolutely recommend The Croft Cottages.

Wedding anniversary visit.
