Description

The Dairy is located in the heart of the Garden Route near the quaint village of Hoekwil. The house was an old dairy which has been newly renovated into spacious self-catering accommodation. The house has great views of the Outeniqua Mountains and the farm dam.

The Dairy provides guests with 2 bedrooms which sleeps a total of 6 guests. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds and a bunk bed. There are 2 bathrooms, both with showers and the main bedroom's bathroom is en-suite. All linen is percale cotton and towels are provided, guests only need to bring their beach towels.

The house has a spacious open-plan kitchen and lounge area with stacking doors and french doors leading onto the veranda with braai facilities. Outside there is a large firepit located in the old 'kraal' area, where the cows were gathered before milking. Inside there is a Dover stove in the open-plan kitchen/living room area which heats up the whole house on a winter's day.

A farm pool is available next to the house for those lazy, hot summers days. It is secure with a child-proof gate. This pool with its wooden deck has proven to be a huge hit with the guests.

There is a wood-fired hot tub available on a wooden deck leading off the patio. Guests can relax in the hot tub while waiting for the braai fires to get ready.

There is a farm dam 80 m from the house. Please note that the farm dam is not fenced off and that parents would need to keep an eye on smaller children.
