Description

The Dogstone Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tastefully furnished 2-bedroom log cabin situated in Hondeklip Bay, within walking distance to the beach.

The cottage can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed and the second bedroom contains 2 single beds that have been pushed together. Each bedroom has a walk-in closet and leads out onto a wooden deck where guests can relax in reclining deck chairs while enjoying views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The kitchen features a breakfast bar and is equipped with a combination fridge-freezer, an electric oven and stove top, and a microwave. The lounge area is equipped with a TV with a DVD player and full DStv. Hairdryers and bath towels are provided, and guests have access to a laundry room with a washing machine, a washing line, and an iron and ironing board.

The outdoor deck is furnished with a dining table and chairs, as well as a small bar fridge, and guests can enjoy the outdoor braai area, designed with practicality, aesthetics and ocean views in mind. Take a stroll down to the beach or up to the lighthouse, or enjoy a sundowner at Dop en Kreef or breakfast at Sam’s Restaurant. Guests can also explore the unspoilt beaches close to the Aristea Shipwreck, or visit the Namaqua National Park outside of town.
