Description

The Gate House is a sunny, self-catering home located in Hout Bay, Cape Town. This house is situated on the mountainside and is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding attractions, such as Chapmans Peak, Constantia Wine Estates, Camps Bay, Table Mountain Aerial Cableway and is 30 km to Cape Town International Airport.

This spacious home can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan living area. Both bedrooms are located upstairs; the main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, and the second bedroom has 2 single beds and access to the second separate bathroom, also fitted with a shower.

The open-plan living area and kitchen are on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and stove, including a dishwasher and a washing machine for convenience. The adjacent living area features a 4-seater dining table, a fireplace, and a sofa to relax on. The living area opens onto an enclosed patio, which offers a built-in braai area for guests to use.

The entire property boasts a complimentary and uncapped 50 Mbps fibre line. There is also a UPS in case of power outages.

The house is situated in a security boom-controlled estate and secure on-street parking is available in the close. The property is within a 5-minute drive from all major supermarkets, the many restaurants that Hout Bay and Constantia have to offer, and not forgetting the world-famous Hout Bay Harbour Market.
