Description
The Guardians Lodge offers self-catering or bed and breakfast. The lodge is located on a working farm, situated at the foothills of the little town of Elliot in the scenic Southern Drakensberg.
Accommodation at The Guardians Lodge comprises 6 thatched cottages, which are fully furnished. These units can sleep 2 to 5 persons, and consist of either 1 or 2 bedrooms with a private bathroom. Most of the cottages feature a kitchenette with basic appliances to cook meals in, or heat- and eat-facilities.
The lodge has an on-site restaurant named Upstream, which is open from Tuesday to Sunday afternoon for lunch and dinner. For guests that are searching for a scenic wedding venue, the lodge boasts an intimate 43-seater stone chapel, with stunning views of the mountains.
There are quite a few activities for guests to experience in the area such as golf, hiking and mountain biking; exploring 4x4 trails and rock art sites, to name but a few.
