The Haven Hotel is a family friendly adventure destination, set within the Cwebe and Dwesa Nature Reserves on the Transkei Wild Coast of South Africa. The Hotel offers you a relaxing and secluded getaway in unspoiled surroundings, and is blessed with sea, sun, and plenty of things to see and do.

Accommodation is offered in spacious en-suite twin or double chalets, scattered throughout the tranquil garden-like environment. Guests have a choice of sea- or garden-facing chalets. Each chalet features tea- and coffee-making facilities, fresh linen and towels.

The Haven Hotel's kitchen prides itself on producing fresh and tasty meals. A full bar service is available, and the cozy bar also boasts a full-size billiards table and a dart board. The hotel has a carefully selected wine list to suit a wide range of palates. For those who wish to get away or go hiking, lunch packs can be pre-ordered from the kitchen. Cooler boxes are also available for sundowners on the river or on our beautiful Wild Coast beach.

The Haven Hotel is located at the mouth of the Mbashe River, which is well-known as a prime fishing destination. Other activities at the hotel include hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, canoeing, tennis, golf, and whale and dolphin watching. Or guests can simply spend the time relaxing in this unforgettable haven.

The hotel and surrounds are a kids paradise. There are acres of lawns and endless beaches for kids to play and explore. There is a also a jungle gym, swings, a sandpit and a trampoline situated in front of the hotel, in close proximity to the games room which has table tennis.
