The Marine boasts 40 individually decorated en suite bedrooms and suites in a hotel. This is one of the southern hemisphere's most spectacular seaside properties. Perched on the cliffs, overlooking Hermanus' Walker Bay, this unforgettable property overlooks South Africa's most pristine whale sanctuary, and is within close proximity to one of the greatest densities of the endangered Great White Shark, and selection of fynbos species in the Cape.
There are 3 different types of units namely Double Rooms, Luxury Double Rooms, and Premier Suites.
The Premier Suites at The Marine each offer a view of the expansive ocean vista surrounding the hotel. Each Premier Suite is furnished with a double bed and encompasses a separate lounge with a Smart-TV. Each room features an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and bath. In addition, most of the rooms contain underfloor heating, air-conditioning, a lounge area, and Wi-Fi Internet access.
The Luxury Double Rooms with Sea View are perfectly positioned for watching pods of dolphins and whales as they swim in the bay below. The panoramic views over Walker Bay have inspired the decor of each of the rooms. Each room is furnished with a double bed and features an en-suite bathroom, and a comfortable seating area. In addition, most of the rooms contain underfloor heating in the en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, a lounge area, a Smart-TV and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The Double Rooms at The Marine offer the signature decor and uncompromising style for which the hotel is known. Some of the rooms open out onto private balconies. Each Double Room is furnished with a double bed or twin beds and features an en-suite bathroom.
