Description

The Mission's House is a historical 8-sleeper home situated 800 m from Onrus Beach, and is ideal for families and friends looking for a beach getaway.

The accommodation comprises of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a lounge in the main building, and a fourth bedroom is nestled in the milkwood trees. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom contains a double bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The 2 bedrooms share the use of a bathroom with a slipper bath.

The fourth bedroom is located across the courtyard, and the first-floor open-plan bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and has a private bathroom fitted with a bath. A bar fridge, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities are also available in the room. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided for all the rooms. Guests please need to bring their own swimming towels; swimming towels are also available on request at an additional cost.

The main house has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher and a washing machine are also available, and guests can enjoy their meals at the breakfast nook or the dining table.

Guests can relax in one of the lounge areas in front of the cosy fireplaces, and a TV with a DVD player is available. Please note DStv is not available.

The living area opens onto an undercover outdoor eating area, and guests have use of the braai facilities in the sunny courtyard. Guests please need to bring their own firewood. One off-street parking bay, as well as several visible spaces in front of the house, are available.

The Mission's House is located 1 km from the tidal pools. Onrus offers whale watching between October and January, swimming, sailing, hiking and walking, horse-back riding and mountain biking trails between the beautiful fynbos.
