Heerlik, pragtige huis met pragtige uitsig.

In-check was 'n fiasko. Het 19:00 arriveer (en so bevestig met agent). In donker moes ons soek na die sleutel wat onder 'n klip neergesit was. Geen buiteligte en moes ons ons weg vind met selfoonliggies. Agent net vinnig oor foon ingelig oor hoe om alarm te deaktiveer. Een van my kinders het gaan stort en het 'n persoon aan buitekant van badkamervenster opgemerk. Die persoon het deur die venster probeer kyk. Nadat ek eienaar geskakel het, het sy genoem dat die beams geaktiveer moet word, maar niemand het dit aan ons genoem of gewys hoe om dit te doen nie. Check-in was a fiasco. Arrived 19:00 (and so confirmed with agent). In the dark we had to search for the key that was placed under a stone. No outside lights and we had to find our way with cellphone lights. Agent just quickly informed over phone how to disable alarm. One of my children went to take a shower and noticed a person outside the bathroom window. The person tried to look through the window. After I called owner, she mentioned that the beams need to be activated, but no one mentioned it to us or showed us how to do it. A blessing in disguise that it happened on the first night of our stay, otherwise we would never have known that there were beams and an alarm that needed to be activated, even though we were in the house. I also shudder to know what could have happened if my child had not noticed the person outside, as all the lower rooms' blinds were drawn up. No exterior lights on front of house, and we mentioned that too. Agent came to check after 2 days and suggested to call out electrician. It was Saturday 1pm and we were in no mood for workers in our short stay. However, we found light bulbs in a kitchen cupboard, replaced them and lights then worked. Owner was very helpful all the time, but there are some things they definitely need to pay attention to. Furthermore, we had a very nice stay and hope to go again.
