Description
The Olive and Vine Farm Cottage offers self-catering accommodation located on the La Terra de Luc farm in Franschhoek. Like the name of the cottage, so is the setting, between olive trees and vines.
The Olive and Vine Cottage is a well-equipped cottage that can accommodate up to 2 guests. The cottage comprises a bedroom that features a queen-size bed and a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. There is also a bath located outside the unit for an open-air bath experience.
The unit also comes equipped with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen features a microwave, gas hob, Air-Fryer and fridge. The unit has an outside braai pit that guests can make use of.
From the cottage, guests have a view of the beautiful mountains that surround the Franschhoek Valley. There is a private entrance to the cottages and also a private outside area to relax in the sun or under an umbrella with a nice glass of wine from our local wineries.
Parking is available under old oak trees that are part of the beauty of this farm. There is also a little river running through the farm and you will have a peaceful experience under the huge willow trees next to the river. In the summertime, it might be a dry river bed, but during the winter season, which is the rainy season, there will be water running through.
This is a great location, situated close to popular landmarks including the Franschhoek Monument, world-renowned restaurants, the Franschhoek Wine Tram, Pearl Valley Golf course, Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, well-known wineries, and many more. There are very nice routes for cycling and hiking.
