Set in among the orchards and only 5 km from the Olifants River, The Orchard Cottage at Glendonald offers guests the ideal weekend getaway in the most beautiful valley in the Western Cape. The Orchard Cottage at Glendonald is wedged in among the apple and pear orchards with superb views of the Witzenberg and Skurweberg mountain ranges. Recently renovated in architectural design and finishes, the cottage has all the comforts of home and more; the opportunity to explore and experience the Cape Floral Kingdom at its finest.
The cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 en-suite bedrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first and second bedrooms each contain a double bed and a shower en-suite with a toilet and washbasin. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds and a shower en-suite with a toilet and washbasin. The fourth bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer and a stove and oven. There is an 8-seater dining table with stools. The lounge contains comfortable seating. The living area has sliding doors opening to a large patio, which has a covered section with outdoor dining furniture, outdoor seating and a built-in braai.
There is also a dipping pool in the stream next to the cottage.
