The Place is situated at the end of a private road in a beautiful, safe and secluded valley, in the Klein Karoo wilderness between Ladismith and Riversdale.

Accommodation comprises 2 self-catering units, both of which are completely private and free-standing; away from the main house and each other. Each unit boasts a private plunge pool on the patio. Well-behaved pets are welcome by request. Only The Studio has Wi-Fi available.

The Studio is a semi-open plan with one double bed and a sofa suitable for a small child in the private bedroom. There are 2 single beds doubling as day beds in the deck lounge. The private en-suite bathroom is fitted with a hot-water shower, toilet and basin. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven and stove, a dining area with an open fireplace and another day bed suitable for a child in the sunset lounge. Amenities include electricity, limited Wi-Fi internet access, a Bluetooth speaker, and limited cell phone reception. Glazed patio doors open to 2 private shaded outdoor seating areas, the plunge pool and braai area that offers spectacular sunset views. There is a shaded courtyard garden with seating, beautiful views and a hammock, which is perfect for soaking up the winter sunshine, star gazing or taking a break from the heat of summer afternoons. The third set of glazed patio doors off the dining area open onto the best sunset views at The Place.

Red Rock Cottage is situated in a private copse of Acacia trees and is completely private and secluded. It has 2 double bedrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has a private, outside entrance and an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower. A sofa bench in each room doubles as a single bed for 2 children or adults. The first bedroom has its own fireplace and a small, private patio. The open-plan living area consists of a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven and stove, dining area, and lounge where the sofas can accommodate 2 additional children. Glazed patio doors open onto an outside patio with braai facilities and uninterrupted views of the surrounding fields and hills.

The open-plan living area comprises a kitchen with gas stove, fridge, and ample storage. The dining area sits adjacent to glass patio doors, opening onto the outdoor living area. In the lounge area, sofa benches may double as single beds for children, while the free-standing fireplace ensures cosy winter nights. Glass patio doors open onto the private, outside space with outdoor furniture, private plunge pool and braai facilities.

The property's famous, freshly baked olive and rosemary bread is always available to order. The area is perfect for exploring on mountain bikes; guests are required to bring their own bicycles and gear. Guests are welcome to explore the amazing variety of landscape features on the farm, including the magical mini-valleys, dry river beds, fossils, and strange succulents that make this landscape so unique.
