The Poppyseed is a sophisticated self-catering apartment set in the leafy suburb of Saxonwold. Set within a private homestead, this upstairs apartment overlooks a mature and beautiful garden, surrounded by lovely old trees. The Poppyseed is located close to upmarket shopping centres, tourist attractions and major routes and is just a few blocks away from the Rosebank Gautrain station.
It is a short walk away from the art gallery strip on Jan Smuts and Keyes Avenue, the Zoo Lake and the War Memorial.

The Genesis Clinic and Rosebank Netcare Hospital are a few blocks away, with the Milpark and Donald Gordon a short drive. The Glenhove Conference Centre and Wits University are less than 10 minutes away. For golfers, Killarney, Parkview Houghton and Wanderers courses are all in close proximity.

This spacious apartment is self-contained and fully equipped, can accommodate 2 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The large bedroom features twin single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed, made up with electric blankets, down duvets, and percale linen. The luxurious en-suite bathroom comes fitted with a bath and a shower, and heated towels rails. Underfloor heating ensures comfort during the chilly winters, with an overhead fan and air-conditioner for the hot summer months.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, a fridge, a washing machine and a dishwasher. The comfortable lounge features a TV with DStv and a DVD player, as well as Wi-Fi internet access. The living area has large picture windows looking out to the trees. There is also a small patio for enjoying the Highveld sunsets.

There is ample secure off-street parking behind automated gates and the apartment is equipped with a security system. A braai area with Weber is available for guests' use in the garden. The property is equipped with a back up generator and water tank to deal with the City's supply disruptions.
