Description
The Retreat offers a private guest suite located on the host’s property in Kommetjie, Cape Town. The property is within walking distance of lovely restaurants and pubs in the village, and nearby Long Beach. There is a dedicated parking area in front of the cottage.
The charming cottage has a private entrance and a small courtyard with a braai facility and can accommodate 2 guests, it is furnished with a queen-size bed fitted with quality linen and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Adjacent to the bed is a small seating area and a kitchenette that contains appliances such as a kettle, a toaster, an induction hob, a bar fridge, a microwave and utilities. In addition, the cottage contains free Wi-Fi Internet access and a smart TV with Netflix.
We practice sustainable living and we ask our guests to use the bin provided for organic waste for our veggie garden. Guests are encouraged to explore the local coastline and enjoy the local restaurants and coffee shops on the weekends. The Retreat is a popular place with surfers and hikers.
For visitors looking to experience the local wine and craft beer farms and breweries, there are Cape Point Vineyards as well as various small microbreweries and a gin distillery within close distance.
