Description

The River Cottage is a private farm cottage situated on the banks of the Vaal River on the Free State side, just 20 km from Potchefstroom. The cottage offers privacy, tranquility and relaxation.

The cottage offers accommodation ideal for a family or group of 6 guests. It comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with 2 single beds in each, and the third bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. Two of the en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin in each, and the third bathroom is fitted with a corner bath.

The living room includes a TV with full DStv connection, and the kitchen is equipped with a 4-plate stove top, a fridge-freezer, microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Uncapped Wi-Fi is available.

The lights and certain plugs stay on during load shedding.

A complimentary starter pack of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, braai briquettes and toiletries are provided.

Guests can relax on the patio enjoying a braai and the lovely view of the river. The splash pool is only available during the summer. There are also massive grass-covered terraces to enjoy a picnic or simply relax while gazing over the water.
