Would not recommend.

Booked 2 rooms with en-suite and only one had en-suite. Setting and location are good, but general tidiness and cleanliness lacks. Same renovations works underway without prior notification.

I really feel that this review was unfair.

Firstly, we were indeed busy with renovations. It was the veranda that was being renovated and I didn't think it would inconvenience guests too severely.

Your original booking was for Room 5 which was the garden annex and Room 3 which is in the main house. Seeing as these rooms are quite far apart and they were a family, I felt it would be more suitable to move you from the smaller garden annex to the room in the main house which is adjacent to the room that you had booked. Despite it being a more expensive room with a king-size bed and its own shower, I moved you at no extra costs as I desired to keep you satisfied and comfortable. Both rooms have their own showers and no one shares a bathroom. The only slight issue is that Room 2's shower is down a small passage. I didn't believe this would be a concern as you are family.

You gave me a low score on cleanliness which I find odd as my rooms are very tidy and most people score me highly on that.

You also gave a low score on service. I believe this is unfair as I know that my staff go out of their way to welcome guests and make them feel at home.

Katie gave us a warm welcome but except for that, nothing else going on.
