The Springbok Lodge
Description
All Standard Tents are suited to accommodate 2 guests and come equipped with either a king-size bed or twin single beds. Each tent features an indoor bathroom fitted with a bathtub with a hand shower, twin washbasins and a toilet, as well as an outdoor shower, and complimentary toiletries. All tents are air-conditioned, keeping you cool in the hot summer months and warm in the chilly winter months with the addition of electric blankets to keep guests extra snug. Each tent contains a hospitality tray, complimentary sherry, a safety deposit box, and a hairdryer.

Rates displayed include Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, an internal transfer from and to the car park area to the lodge with an allocated ranger, a welcome drink, and 2 x 3 hour Game Drives (1 in the afternoon and 1 in the morning) per person per day.

- All beverages from the bar. (All drinks on the game drive are for your own account).
- The Nambiti Conservation Levy, which is charged per adult per night = R 100.00 pppn in 2023.
- The Nambiti Conservation Levy, which is charged per child (4-12yrs) per night = R 100.00 pppn in 2023.
- Gratuities for Lodge Staff and your Ranger/s.
- Arrival at Woodlands Gate is strictly from 13:00.
- During the High Seasons (Easter & Christmas) - if there is 1 adult and 1 child sharing the same accommodation - the adult is charged the sharing rate.
- Activities included in your stay are the 2 scheduled game drives per person per day.
- Springbok Lodge also offers Boma Dinners, Bush Breakfasts and Bass fishing - weather permitting.
- Bush walks (self-guided) within our lodge fenced area are very popular.
- Additionally, guests can self-drive out of the reserve to explore the majestic Drakensberg and its surrounding area and participate in tours to the Battlefields.
Wheelchair accessibility:
- 1 tent is adjacent to the lodge and has access via a ramp (instead of stairs), catering for wheelchair-bound guests and those with mobility challenges. The facilities in the tent are standard as per all our other tents.
- The main lodge and boma are easily accessible by wheelchair and the lodge boasts a uniquely designed, wheelchair-accessible plunge pool.
- More information and images regarding the tents’ facilities and restrictions with regards to wheelchairs can be obtained when making a reservation.
