The Taj Private Self-catering Residence offers classically elegant self-catering studio apartment accommodation set in the heart of Cape Town, opposite the famous company gardens. The privately owned apartments are located in the same building as the Taj which operates as a hotel, and as a guest you can make use of the hotel’s room service, a heated pool, gym and a hot tub.

Accommodation is offered in 2 Luxury Double studios, that can each accommodate 2 guests. Each air-conditioned studio contains a king-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a dual-headed walk-in shower, a separate oversized bathtub, and Molton Brown amenities. Each studio has a lounge area with seating and a 40-inch LCD Sony Bravia TV with a selection of DStv channels, as well as a kitchenette that is fitted with a 2-plate induction stove, a microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, a mini-fridge, pots and pans, and cutlery and crockery. Each studio has sliding doors opening to a walk-out balcony from which you can enjoy the views. High speed Wi-Fi internet access is available.

Daily housekeeping, laundry and dry cleaning services and shuttle services can all be arranged directly with the Taj hotel at an additional fee. Guests can also make use of the hotel’s restaurants, and the on-site Jive Spa which offers massages, body treatments and facilities.
