The Water House

Amazing tranquil family holiday.

The hosts Gerhard and Stuart were very helpful pre and post-stay, the place was homely and the lake's views were so calming.

The Water House is spacious and comfortable, well-equipped and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Gerhard was very welcoming and helpful. It was the perfect location for a special family break!

The House is so beautiful - it is spacious and has everything you need! Lovely pool, pizza oven and lake that you can swim in!

I loved my stay, it was so perfect for a big group of us! It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the mountain bike trails in the area, the huge lake that we paddled and swam in and the pool! There is both a normal and gas braai, as well as a pizza oven! All the ingredients for an amazing weekend away!

The Water House is an ideal location for a great time away from home. The bedrooms are all a good size and the entertainment areas are more than adequate. Unfortunately, the kitchen is too sparsely equipped for 10 people. We would suggest that more wine and bubbly glasses are supplied as well as more serving platters and bowls.

What a great stay and beautiful house.

The pictures do really not do this house justice. The house is so well equipped and the location is perfect. The host was amazing and very accommodating. There is nothing on this I can fault and would recommend it to anyone thinking of a group vacation.
