Description
The White House offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in an 'old school' beach house, situated just up the road from Grotto Beach in Hermanus.
The house features a large private garden, ample indoor and outdoor entertainment areas and sea views from the patio. It can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The main bedroom contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. This room overlooks the ocean and Grotto Beach. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located down the corridor from the main bedroom. These spacious bedrooms each contain 2 single beds and have access to a shared bathroom with a bath. An additional 'bunkhouse' is situated across the courtyard and comprises a king-size bed, an adjoining room with a bunk bed for children, and a bathroom with a shower.
The 'old school' kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, an oven and stove, a microwave, and a kettle and toaster, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine for convenience. A serving hatch connects the kitchen with the braai area. The lounge, dining room and bar areas are spacious and offer sea views.
The cosy courtyard has a swimming pool and entertainment area, and a garden with mountain views. In addition, the house is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels, Wi-Fi and books. Secure off-street parking is available for 4 cars.
The house is a short stroll from a restaurant, where guests can enjoy breakfast before a day at the beach. There are beautiful walking trails in Voëlklip and the Kammabaai beaches. A short drive to Hermanus will allow for shopping and eating out, as well as whale watching in season.
