Description
The White House at Grotto Bay Nature Reserve is a luxurious and tastefully furnished, 4-bedroom home with views towards the reserve and the sea. The house is situated within the private Nature Reserve of Grotto Bay, 45 minutes from Cape Town and 20 minutes before Yzerfontein.
The beach house offers guests privacy and comprises 4 bedrooms of which 3 are en-suite, 4 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The house accommodates a maximum of 8 guests, children included. The 2 main bedrooms upstairs are each furnished with a queen-size bed, the third room upstairs is small, has 2 single beds and is more suited for kids. The fourth bedroom is the largest bedroom and is located downstairs with a king-size bed that can be split into 2 singles upon request.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an oven and stove, a combination fridge-freezer, a microwave, and Nespresso coffee and milk machines. The kitchen flows into the open-plan living area with a fireplace, a dining room table and chairs, a flat-screen TV with Netflix only, as well as a Ping Pong table.
The living area leads out onto a large terrace with outdoor seating, Weber gas barbecue facilities, decking, and a large solar-heated salt-chlorinated swimming pool. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi and parking.
The West Coast is a beautiful region of the Western Cape, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the west and the Swartland on the east. With a mishmash of charming fishing villages, the West Coast National Park, Cape Fossil Park, and the magnificent wildflower display in spring, Route 27 has fast become a major holiday route for those escaping the big city.
