The cottage comprises 1 bedroom with a double bed and a sleeper couch, an en-suite bathroom, and an open-plan kitchenette, lounge and dining room. There is a fireplace in the lounge area, ideal for those winter evenings. The cottage is private with its own fenced-in garden with an outdoor braai area. The cottage is equipped with a TV with Openview decoder. Linen, cooking utensils, and crockery and cutlery is provided. The cottage is on an elevated site with lovely mountain views.

You will be given a voucher to use during your stay which will allow you free access to the Drakensberg Gardens Holiday Resort. Facilities there include golf, putt-putt, a health spa, heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, tennis, table tennis, pool tables, bowls, horse riding and an animal petting zoo. The voucher also allows for a discount on green fees. There are a variety of restaurants, bars and take away bistro's available. Evening meals need to be booked 24 hours in advance but no booking is required for breakfast. Fly fishing is available at Castle Burn Resort (approximately 6 km away) on a catch and release basis. Castle Burn also has restaurants and bar facilities which are available to outside guests. Further information will be available in the cottage. Things to bring with you: Please note the following things that you will need to bring and others to consider: a) Towels b) Warm clothes – no matter the season, cold fronts can arrive and it has snowed well into spring. c) Torch. d) Good walking shoes and hat for hiking. e) First Aid kit and consider sun block and antihistamine. f) Food and drink for the duration of your stay. There is a mini supermarket nearby, and Underberg with shops is approximately 31 km away. g) 1 crate of firewood will be provided and more can be bought from the mini supermarket.
