As 'n mens wil rus tydens jou vakansie is die Dry Mill Apartments nie aan te bevele nie, dit is verskriklik raserig.

Die omgewing Thesen Island en Knysna is ongelooflik mooi. Die uitleg van die Dry Mill Apartments is ongelukkig baie swak beplan. Daar is twee blokke geboue wat met brugstrukture aan mekaar verbind is. Die gevolg is dat dit 'n hol ruimte binne vorm sodat mense wat praat, kinders wat skreeu en lawaai, motors wat in en uit trek en selfs die restaurante se musiek luid weergalm. Die ongeluk daarby is dat die slaapkamer van ons suite en waarskynlik al die ander suites ook aan hierdie kant van die gebou is. Dus was daar min rus. Dit het ander vakansiegangers ook gepla want daar was dikwels iemand gehoor wat vanuit hul suite se venster gilllend pleit vir stilte! Die area is wonderlik, maar die ongerief van die geraas het werklik ons hele vakansie oorskadu. Ek sal ongelukkig nooit weer hier bespreek nie.

If you want to get some rest during your holiday, I don't recommend Dry Mill Apartments. Very noisy.

The area between Thesen Island and Knysna is unbelievably beautiful. Unfortunately the lay-out of Dry Mill Apartments is very bad. Two blocks connected by a bridge structure. This creates a space that amplifies the sound of people talking, kids shouting, cars pulling in and out, and even the music of the restaurants. So it's a pity that the bedroom of our suite and probably the other suites too is on that side of the building. We didn't get much rest. It also bothered other holidaymakers because we ofthen heard people shouting for some peace and quiet from the other suites! Wonderful area, but the noise really spoiled our holiday. Unfortunatley I will never book this place again.

Baie dankie vir jou terugvoering oor jou persoonlike ervaring van die akkommodasie by Dry Mill, gedurende die afgelope Desember kersgety. Dit is so dat Thesen Eiland, veral vir dié 2 weke in 'n jaar oor die kersgety, baie aktief en besig is, met heelwat vakansiegangers. 99% van die gaste bespreek egter jaarliks hulle vakansie vooruit vir die volgende Desember vakansie. Die argitekte en die ontwikkelaars van die Dry Mill apartments het talle nasionale en internasionale toekennings verwerf, kyk gerus na hierdie link http://www.cmai.co.za/media-awards. Hopelik sal jy weer Thesen Eiland probeer vir n volgende vakansie, oor 'n stiller periode en miskien in een van die huise wat ons beskikbaar het om aan jou te bied.
