Description

Thorn Tree Bush Camp is located in Dinokeng Game Reserve, free-roaming Big 5, and malaria-free reserve, in Hammanskraal, Gauteng. This camp is for the true nature lover where guests can enjoy the tranquillity of nature. The stars are brighter at night, where lion roars, jackal bark, bushbabies cry, owls screech and the insects sing and much more can often be heard at night.

The accommodation comprises of 1 cottage and several unique tented camps to choose from.

Sit back and relax around your private fire pit, watch the stars, listen to the sounds of nature, and enjoy being in the bush. Make use of the large pool, to cool off in those hot summer days. The large boma is ideal for evenings in front of a bonfire surrounded by the sounds of nature; it can also be used for a braai or making your own potjies on a bigger scale.

There are no TVs in the camp, but if you are scared to miss a game, the restaurants, pubs, bars have a TV.

For those who do not want to cook can make use of our B&B option and meals prepared by our in-house chef. We also have a little shop where you can buy wood, ice, firelighters, ice cream, snacks, cold drinks and some basic things.
