Description
Thorntree Lodge is a bushveld lodge approximately 3 km from Potchefstroom Bult and the University of North West and 500 m from the Featherhill wedding venue and spa.
The lodge has excellent accommodation in a peaceful and quiet environment with bird life and wild buck roaming in close proximity to the rooms.
Accommodation is available in 5 semi self-catering rooms.
There are 2 semi self-catering rooms that each have a separate entrance, queen-size bed and a en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The rooms also have a beautiful view of the bush and a bird feeder and is close to the boma area.
The other 2 semi self-catering rooms each have a separate entrance, twin beds and an en-suite bathrooms with a shower.
The fifth semi self-catering room has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower.
The rooms are very private.
There are walking trails for those who like to take an early morning or afternoon stroll. There are also a boma area where guests can have a braai (BBQ) and use the lapa facilities. The facilities are for guests only and prior booking arrangements need to be made with the owners. Charcoal and/or wood is not provided at the lodge.
Ideal for any occasion, business travel, wedding guests attending your wedding at a venue close to the lodge, parents visiting their children studying at the NWU, or just escaping the city buzz to breath in some fresh air and get away from it all.
