Description

Tibani Nature Reserve offer guests accommodation in a self-catering house or a campsite on a 600-hectare reserve, 15 km from Montagu.

Guests can stay in the Botterboomhuisie, named after the locally found botterbome. The multi-storey house comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, as well as a kitchenette and 12-volt power is provided to charge a cellphone or laptop. The loft room is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. The rooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower.

The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, gas fridge-freezer, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. Guests can relax in the lounge which has a cosy fireplace.

The house opens onto a deck with a built-in braai area, and a solar-heated splash pool overlooking the surroundings.

Mongoose Campsite accommodates 6 guests and is ideal for nature lovers as it is very private and offers its own ablution facilities with a shower, washbasin and toilet.

Outside the ablution is washing up facilities with a sink. A gas geyser provides hot water and solar lights provide some lighting for the evenings. There is also a potable water point provided at the campsite. Access to free Wi-Fi is available; however, there are no electric points available.

For those warm karoo summer days, there is a farm dam to cool off in and during the chilly nights, guests can gather around the fire pit provided at the campsite.

Guests can explore the reserve on foot, mountain bike or follow the 4X4 route to the top of the mountain with its magnificent views.
