Description
Tinyiko Game Lodge is a privately owned luxury African safari lodge that allows guests to enjoy hectares of unspoilt game-rich savannah bushveld in near solitude.
Accommodation is offered in luxuriously appointed private thatched chalets, located overlooking a waterhole. Each chalet has its own elegant sense of style and décor, designed to make you feel pampered, spoiled and special. Each chalet contains a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, a lounge area and a fireplace. Large sliding wooden sliding doors exit onto a private viewing deck where you can relax and watch Africa pass by.
Dining is an experience at Tinyiko. Meals are exquisitely prepared by highly trained and qualified chefs, and the many culinary creations served are a delight to all guests.
Nothing compares to sitting by a bar in the African savannah bushveld and having the tranquil sounds of nature fill your ears over a glass of your favourite drink. Treat your taste buds to an African bush wine tasting experience and select from the finest South African wines. Tinyiko souvenirs are also located next to the wine cellar.
At Tinyiko, you are free to indulge yourself in your surroundings. The spacious main lounge and open dining area offers uninterrupted views of the bush. You may lounge at the pool, or enjoy bird watching from your room.
Experienced trackers and game rangers will accompany you on game drives in open land rovers, tracking some shy African antelopes, the night scavengers and sharing with you their vast knowledge.
