Toad Hall Self-catering Cottages is situated on a 10-hectare property in a secluded rural setting overlooking the picturesque Caversham Valley in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Toad Hall Self-catering Cottages is located 8.2 km from Piggly Wiggly Restaurant and 2.8km from Caversham Mill Restaurant.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 5 self-catering standalone guest cottages, each with all-weather verandahs that have outdoor seating, a Jetmaster or Weber braai with lovely views from the private garden. The gardens are fenced which makes them pet-friendly. The 3 larger cottages each comprise 2 en-suite bedrooms, a living and dining area with a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. All the cottages are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV with selected DStv packages.

Each kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. A welcome tray of tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk is provided. All linen and bath towels, together with an allowance of firewood for the open log fires are supplied. Each Cottage has its own carport.

The cottage verandahs look onto landscaped gardens that attract small to medium-sized antelope, and a variety of trees which attract birdlife. Walks can be enjoyed in the forest and in the valley.

The self-catering cottages are conveniently situated in the heart of the Midlands Meander which provides opportunities for exploration of local arts, crafts and eateries. Water sports and walks are nearby at the Midmar Dam which is famous for the Midmar Mile. Toad Hall is an ideal location for parents with students at schools such as Michaelhouse, Hilton, St Anne’s and other schools.
