Description
The Ubunye Game Lodge is situated between Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) and Thabazimbi in the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains.
Ubunye Game Lodge offers a variety of accommodation options such as two-, four-, and six-sleeper chalets, private houses, luxury tented camps and luxury VIP suites. The property can sleep up to 100 guests in total, surrounded by tranquillity and secluded in pure wilderness.
The lodge consists of several camps: Sibaka Lodge, Ntokozo, Safari Units, the Owl House, Kudu House, and the Ubunye Private House.
The Owl House can accommodate up to 12-14 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and a loft room, 3 bathrooms, its own fully equipped kitchen and living area, a patio overlooking the bushveld and its own boma for family and friends to enjoy. Wi-Fi is available. The house has air-conditioning in all the rooms, and DStv in the living room.
The Sibaka Units are thatched self-catering surrounded by the African bush. The Luxury Units form part of the Sibaka camp. The luxury units are modern chalets and can accommodate 2 guests in a queen-size bed. All Luxury Units and Sibaka units are air-conditioned and equipped with a mini fridge-freezer, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The units have shared use of a communal lapa with a fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge, a pool table, dart board, a swimming pool and a dining area, as well as a boma with a fire pit, braai area, picnic tables and seating. Guests at the Sibaka camp can also enjoy putt-putt, a trampoline, volleyball, a jungle gym, and a jumping castle and slide.
Ntokozo units are located right next to the dam. This camp is composed of 2-sleeper, 4-sleeper, and 6-sleeper units. Ntokozo units share communal facilities such as a fully equipped kitchen with a covered braai, a roof-top bar overlooking the dam, as well as a boma. Ntokozo also has its own private swimming pool.
All units can be serviced daily by Ubunye’s well-trained staff, to ensure your stay is relaxing and as enjoyable as possible.
There is a wide variety of game to be seen at Ubunye including giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, nyala, kudu, waterbuck, impala, steenbok and many more.
