Description

Ufumene Game Lodge is situated near Alicedale in the Eastern Cape and offers elegant and exclusive accommodation. Experience wild animals roaming freely in their natural habitat and indulge in what the kitchen and cellar have to offer.

The accommodation offers spacious suites with an en-suite changing- and bathroom. The suites also feature a ceiling fan and a private entrance.

The lodge offers a large veranda with couches, tables and a braai area. Guests also have the use of a sparkling swimming pool, a boule court, a pond with a raft, a party boma, bar and wine cellar. The lodge producer its own vegetables and fruits, fresh farm eggs and it has its own butchery. A daily laundry service is also provided.

Ufumene Game Lodge boasts stunning views over the pond and vast flood plains. Lodge life mostly happens on the large covered veranda, furnished with sofas, chairs and tables, and a summer kitchen and dining area. A refreshing swim in the pool is only a few steps away. On cold days, guests can move indoors to the open-plan hall that includes a kitchen, dining room and lounge with an open fireplace. The wine cellar also has a cosy bar, where good fun and company lifts the spirits.

Guests are spoiled with a choice of cuisines, including a good venison braai and other hearty dishes from South Africa, France and Italy. English language TV channels are available to follow the news and major sporting events.

For entertainment, there is a library of books and movies. Guests will be able to keep in touch with the outside world via cell phone and free Wi-Fi. The lodge also caters to families with many fun and wholesome activities for children.
