Skoon & Netjies

Die kamer was baie mooi, netjies en die wit beddegoed was kraakvars en skoon. Net die volgende punte vir aandag: Ons bespreking was vir 2 mense en daar was slegs 1groot handdoek vir die gebruik van die bad of stort. Ons ontbyt was 'n vreemde ervaaring...ons het 08h00 gaan eet. Daar was n koffie masjien maar hy was nie aan nie, daar was ook nie n ketel om kits koffie te maak nie, en daar was ook nie melk nie. Daar was graankos maar nie melk op die tafel nie, slags n oop bak met plain yogurt maar in ag geneem huidige omstandighede het ons eerder gelos. 'n Dame het in die kombuis begin skarrel sonder om enige iets met ons te praat en het 15min later 2 borde met roereier, toast en bake beans saam verskillende tipes varkvleis (wors, bacon en n tipe salami wiel) voor ons neer gesit, wat defnitief baie lank vooraf gemaak is. Ons is gewoond dat daar meer kommunikeer word itv hoe gaste eiers verkies en gaste dien self op as daar nie van 'n spyskaart af bestel word nie. N voorstel is om dalk eerder met gaste te kommunikeer as hulle vir ontbyt kom aansit itv eier, bake beans ( min mans geniet / verwag dit) en vleis moet verkieslik nie voorkom of die al die voorige aand gemaak is en net opgewarm is nie.

Just the following points for attention: Our booking was for 2 people and there was only 1 large towel for use in the bath or shower. Our breakfast was a strange experience...we went to eat at 08h00. There was a coffee machine but it was not on, there was also no kettle to make instant coffee, and there was no milk either. There was cereal but no milk on the table, sort of an open bowl with plain yogurt but considering the current circumstances we left it instead. A lady started scrambling in the kitchen without talking to us and 15 minutes later put 2 plates with scrambled eggs, toast and baked beans together with different types of pork (sausage, bacon and a type of salami wheel) in front of us, which definitely made a long time ago. We are used to more communication regarding how guests prefer eggs and guests serve themselves if they do not order from a menu. A suggestion is to perhaps communicate with guests if they come to breakfast with egg, baked beans (few men enjoy / expect this) and meat should preferably not appear as if it was made the previous night and just warmed up.
