Van Den Berg's Guesthouse is a luxurious and spacious guest house with 5 well-appointed units, ideally located in Betty’s Bay. Van Den Berg's offers everything from fynbos, beach walks, mountain hikes to relaxing patio views and not to mention the many adventures this region has to offer. The guest house has stunning views of the Overberg Mountains to the north, Walker Bay to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the south.
The Penguin Suite, Pheasant Suite and Mongoose Suite have stunning mountain views while the Honeymoon and Whales Suites boast beautiful sea views and garden views respectively. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV and include a lounge, with a fully fitted kitchenette, where you can relax and enjoy a meal or a cup of tea while looking out at the sea, fynbos garden or mountains. Every suite includes a patio, and a private bathroom fitted with a shower and heated towel rail. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer.
Visit Harold Porter National Botanical Garden, part of the Cape Floral Region which is a World Heritage Site. Guests can enjoy an excursion to 1 of only 2 jackass African penguin breeding colonies. Shop for local arts and crafts in Kleinmond’s famous Harbour Road and enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants.
There are great hiking trails in the Overberg Mountains, some lovely beaches and nearby vineyards which offer wine tasting. Enjoy a range of activities including motorcycle riding, water skiing and wakeboarding, sandboarding, cray fishing and fishing in season, and watching the whales swim and play in the bay.
