Amazing, serenity, peaceful.

Our stay was just amazing! Could relax and be easy chilled. Loved the fact that there was no television or WiFi. Could reflect and just soak up nature in all its glory. Would definitely recommend Geluk on Vergenoegd Farm.

Klein, afgesonder en privaat. Effektief vir 'n aand of twee se wegbreek of oornag. 'n Ekstra noodlig of 2 sal aanbeveel word, aangesien beurtkrag 'n realiteit is.

Absolutely beautiful and restful weekend.

The view of the mountains while sitting on the stoep or in the hot tub was just what we needed. Loved the tranquility.

Prentjiemooi.

Ongelooflike mooi ligging en baie rustig. Die huisie is netjies en het alles in wat mens kan nodig kry. Die Kol-kol warmbad is 'n bederf en die stappie langs die rivier op voel soos 'n ander wereld dit is so mooi. Diens is ook uitstekend.

Wonderlike stilte!

Ons verblyf op die plaas was baie lekker. Dis rerig vergenoegd om weg te kom van alle geraas. Mens moet soms die musiek net afsit vir 'n rukkie en die stilte inneem en onstpan. Die hot tub was awesome en maak lekker warm. Plekkie was netjies en gemaklik vir 2 mense en 2 honde.

In the heart of wine country.

The farm is a wonderful place to explore and stay. The wine was delicious, the pears amazing, the grapes scrumptious, and the location divine. But best of all was their hospitality, and the way you helped us coming over from the UK was amazing. Helping us secure the perfect taxi company (Woeber), bringing us wood for braais and the hot tub. Always understanding and great with our girls. No hidden fees and no problem too big to solve. Thank you so much and I hope others get to enjoy this stunning location.

Tranquility at its finest!

We enjoyed our stay at Vergenoegd Farm very much. The hot tub together with the beautiful views was the best part. I'll recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed breakaway. The kitchen is very well equipped which means that you don't have to pack a lot.

Excellent stay.

The location of the Farm is spectacular! Very secluded and in the most scenic part of the country. The cottage itself is well equipped and very clean. Sharon, the owner, is extremely helpful and friendly. I would however say it is better suited to a short stay of 2-3 days than anything longer than that. To make it more suitable for longer stays it desperately needs a place where the family can sit indoors in the evenings (there is no lounge area). It's very awkward to only have the beds to sit on or to sit at the kitchen table in the evenings. A working stove and oven is also needed. The stove provided was inadequate. Those are my two suggestions for improvement, but other than that the place is recommended.

Ongelooflike uitsig, rustigheid!

Vergenoegd was net wat ons nodig gehad het, vêr weg van die besige stad. Ons het die vars lug, besonderse uitsig, rivier, sonsondergang en vriendelike gasheer waardeer asook die fietsroetes rondom die plaas. Sal weer kom kuier!

Our stay was exceptional. The accommodation was perfect with everything provided. Sharon went out of her way to keep us informed.

Rustige verblyf.

Die chalet is baie netjies, skoon en goed toegerus. Vergenoegd Plaas is geleë in 'n baie rustige, stil omgewing. Die eienaar, Sharon, was baie gasvry en het ons baie welkom laat voel. Met ons aankoms was daar beskuit, koffie, melk en eiers in die kombuis. Het baie lekker gebly en kan dit aanbeveel.

Great breakaway spot!

Perfect spot to break away from the today's fast paced world. With (almost) no mobile phone signal, a kol-kol tub, and mountain views in your backyard, you're sure to get some rest. Plenty of wine farms in a 15 km radius, for those seeking to explore some more. Although a built-in braai is available inside the house, it doesn't ventilate well. A small fireplace would be a great addition in the bedroom for those winter nights.

The farm is great with lots to explore if you're willing to traverse some mildly rough roads to get there. The hot tub was great and the scenery serene.

Pragtige staproete, Jan S. du Toit-roete. Baie netjiese kothuisies met merkwaardige uitsigte. Perfekte wegbreek, onder 'n uur se ry van Kaapstad.

Ruim akkommodasie met 'n asemrowende uitsig.

Dit uitsig vanaf Serenity is pragtig. Die verblyf is heerlik, privaat en ruim. Ons het ons verblyf terdeë geniet.

The host was very welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay.

We only struggled with the fire in the house, getting the smoke out of the house. But the rest of the stay was great.

The cottages are far apart allowing a lot of privacy, the view was gorgeous.

Rustige omgewing en wonderlike woning. Dit was baie lekker om daar vir 'n paar dae te kon woon.

Perfek! Ons is so vriendelik ontvang! Plekkie was skoon en netjies. Beveel die plek 100% aan.

Quiet stay just outside Worcester.

It was a nice stay a short drive from Cape Town. It was relaxing and it was a clean place on a fruit farm.

A magical, secluded working farm retreat hugged by mountains, streams, and nature.

The actual accommodation space was perfectly spacious and super comfy, with enough room inside and on the veranda to not feel cramped. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and clued up about how to get to close-by gems. The nearby stream and fire pit below a tree-covered canopy was a definite highlight to our trip when we went exploring on an adventure drive/walk.

Wonderlike verblyf in die natuur met 'n mooie uitsig oor die berge. Blyplek is skoon, netjies met meer as wat jy nodig het.

Perfect place to really unwind and relax.

We really enjoyed our three day stay. Our host was very accommodating, and super friendly. Just what we needed to charge our batteries.

Great stay with spectacular views, fresh air and as a bonus snow on the mountains.

A cosy cabin for 2 people and just some two suggestions to do with ergonomics in the kitchen and the fire place. The small stove is is jammed below the microwave cabinet and space is a bit tight, this can be improved. For cold winter cabin fires I am afraid the fireplace design is not okay, the chimney is too low and straight up with a lot of smoke in the cabin and not drafting properly. I suggest extending the chimney by at least 2 meters and also improve the top of the firebox by staggering the chimney inlet to the back to prevent all the heat escaping straight out the top. That's really the only "negatives" I have, the rest was great since you come here for the peace and quite and the magnificent views.

Ligging is besonders mooi.

Die plekkie is perfek geleë tussen die dryweboorde en het n ongelooflike mooi uitsig op die berge van Worcester. Ek sal net 'n aircon aanbeveel in die eenheid.

Fantasties!

Wat 'n fantastiese naweek. Die eienaar, Sharon, is verskriklik behulpsaam. Sharon het ons laat vroeër inlok wat ons baie gehelp het. Die beste waarde vir geld en die lekkerste plekkie ooit.

It was amazing!

We really enjoyed the tranquillity of the farm. I loved all the animal sounds around me. The house was so cute. Very neat and tidy. Sharon was also very helpful with everything. We will definitely go visit them again.

Dit was baie gemaklik om te vind, Sharon was behulpsaam en vriendelik. Die kombuis was nie so higiënies skoon nie, bietjie van n reuk toe ons oopsluit wat in die huisie gehang het. Kamer was netjies en badkamer was skoon. Sal aanbeveel dat net meer aandag gegee word aan die water en netheid van die kombuis. Andersins was als in orde.

Lieflike ligging, natuur, berge, rivier. Heerlike selfsorg-huisies met braaigoed toegerus. Lekker geslaap, stilte.

Hidden gem close to Worcester.

We had to be in Worcester for business, but wanted to combine it with some peace and quiet time in nature. This was absolutely the best spot to choose, no TV, no internet, just time to reflect and relax. Our walk to the river was an absolute surprise, the beauty of the rocks and the clear water was just a treasure! Thank you for sharing your farm with the stadsjapies!

Heerlik stil en weg van die stad se geraas, rustig.

Dit was 'n baie lekker naweek. Ek en my vrou het heerlik gekuier in die rustigheid van die plaas omgewing. Die feit dat daar nie 'n TV is nie is 'n groot bonus. Dit is baie stil en rustig daar en jy kan in die veld rondloop ens.

Pragtige omgewing, lieflike akkommodasie.

Kommunikasie was duidelik, en alles wat ek nodig gehad het was beskikbaar. Die fasiliteite was netjies en skoon en ek het welkom en tuis gevoel.

Geen lopende water vir 'n toilet en wasbak.

Toilet en wasbak in badkamer het nie watertoevoer gehad nie. Sal nie teruggaan. Na verskeie versoeke, is geen reaksie geneem om die water situasie reg te stel nie. Sy het belowe die plaasbestuurder sal dit kom uitsorteer dieselfde middag wat ons gearriveer het. 'n Plaaswerker is gestuur wat nie die probleem kon oplos nie. Ons het 2 aande bespreek. Plaasbestuurder het nooit opgedaag nie. Sharon (bestuurder) lag net hieroor en was deeglik bewus van die water probleem. Ons moes water in die kombuis asblik aandra toilet toe vir gebruik. Sharon plaas toe die blaam op ons as gaste dat ons nie genoeg gekla het nie! Baie swak. 'n Plek mag glad nie uitverhuur word indien die toilet nie eers in werkende toestand is nie! Sy reageer eenvoudig net nie op oproepe, boodskappe of eposse nie.

We enjoyed our stay at Vergenoegd. It is the perfect place to spend an “unplugged” weekend without the interference of technology and daily interruptions. Very neat and situated between mountains, vineyards and orchards.

A beautiful and tranquil spot!

This was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The fur kids just loved the beautiful open spaces and we loved the magnificent views and peaceful environment!

Baie tegemoetkomende gasvrou.

Mooi natuurskoon, perfek vir natuurliefhebbers.

Hierdie huisie was heel gerieflik en baie netjies. Daar was egter fout met die waterdruk, so die lekker warmstort in die koue waarna ons uitgesien het, was 'n teleurstelling. Dit was ook erg ongerieflik (vir ons én hom) om elke keer wanneer ons die plaas wil in-/uitkom, die plaasbestuurder te bel. Waarom gee julle nie net vir huurders 'n afstandbeheer vir die hek nie? Ons was net een nag hier, en het nie kos gemaak nie, so die kombuisgeriewe was voldoende. As jy vir 'n naweek of langer bly, bring tog maar alles saam, want die kombuis het net die absoluut noodsaaklikste. Ten spyte van bogenoemde het ons heel gerieflik gebly en lekker op die plaas rondgestap en selfs fiets gery. Die huisie is perfek vir 'n plattelandse plaaskuier sonder fieterjasies.

Fantasties! Het dit verskriklik baie geniet!

Diens was van die hoogste kwaliteit. Het dit baie daar geniet. Sal weer gaan.
