Description

Vlakbult Guest Farm was built in the 1800's and still features the original sandstone walls, wooden floors, high ceilings and patio. The farm is situated just 7 km outside the small town of Clocolan in the Free State, and offers comfortable accommodation among the surrounding crop fields and hills. The farm also has a solar panel system in place so that guests aren't affected by load shedding.

The old farmhouse has been renovated to accommodate up to 12 guests, and each room has a unique, rustic and cosy style. The guest house comprises a communal lounge, dining area and a kitchen where guests can prepare meals, ideal for a business conference or family gathering. A variety of breakfasts, lunches and dinners are also offered.

The honeymoon suite is separate from the guesthouse with a private garden overlooking the Spitskop hill. This unit can accommodate an additional 2 guests. The honeymoon suite comprises its own kitchen, en-suite bathroom, lounge and balcony.

The guest farm offers facilities for weddings and conferences, as well as an essential oil shop where various oils and products are sold.
