House Rules
Wagendrift Lodge is reached by a gravel road. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
Early arrivals or late departures can be catered for but must be prearranged as there is no cell phone reception on the farm. Therefore, all arrangements must be done in advance.
Bags of braai wood and ice can be purchased on the premises and is subject to availability. Guests are advised to bring their own.
Guests should bring drinking water. We make use of borehole water and it is 100% safe to drink but tastes different.
Please keep noise levels down, respect our wildlife and note that noise is not allowed after 23:00.
No littering will be tolerated.
No open fires or smoking are allowed on any trails. This is a fire hazard.
There's only Vodacom mobile phone signal in the lodge rooms and on the main house porch.
No guests other than the booked and paid-for ones are allowed on the premises.
Strictly no pets allowed.
Bring your own swimming towels.
No smoking is allowed in any of the units.
Guests are to bring their own decoder for the TV.
There are 4x4 maps available on arrival, but no 4x4 guides. Guests need their own vehicle.
Do not move any of the furniture around.
The swimming pool is for the cottage guests’ use only.
No parking on the lawn.
