Accommodation at Walvis Bay Backpackers & Self-catering consists of 4 similarly decorated chalets, 1 family unit and 1 dorm room with 5 bunk beds. Each chalet comprises an open-plan design and has a bedroom area that is furnished with twin beds. Each unit has 1 bathroom, which is fitted with a shower, basin, and a toilet. Each chalet also features a sleeper couch for one child, and a TV with selected DStv channels. In addition, each unit contains a kitchenette that contains a bar fridge, a microwave, a 2-plate stove, a kettle, a selection of cutlery, and an electric braai pan; free Wi-Fi Internet access, and a free-standing fan to use. Each unit has braai facilities.
The Family Unit can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children and comprises a private bathroom with a shower, a fully-equipped kitchen and an outside area with braai facilities. The Dorm room is rented per bed and guests have access to a bathroom with showers and a fully-equipped communal kitchen.
Guests can also book outdoor adventure activities with the management on-site. Secure parking is available for vehicles, behind remote-controlled gates of the property.
