Description
Warthogs Creek is a luxury self-catering holiday home situated in the heart of Marloth Park, bordering the southern edge of the Kruger National Park in the picturesque lowveld of Mpumalanga, South Africa. Marloth Park is located just 16 km from the Kruger National Park, Crocodile Bridge Gate. Game roam freely in the area, around the house and even right next to the infinity pool while you swim. Resident wildlife visitors include warthog, kudu, zebra, impala, grey duiker, bushbuck, nyala, mongoose, giraffe, ostrich, bush babies and much more.
The spacious house can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The main bedroom contains an extra-length queen-size bed, and a full en-suite bathroom with a corner bath, a shower, a toilet, and twin washbasins. The second bedroom contains an extra-length queen-size bed and an en suite with a walk-in shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds and an en suite with a walk-in shower, a toilet and a washbasin. All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned, and quality bedding and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a 5-plate gas stove, an electric oven, 2 double-door fridge-freezers, and a scullery equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a seating area in the kitchen for those who want to keep the cook company or just have a drink and enjoy good conversation. The air-conditioned lounge has comfortable couches, a Smart TV and free Wi-Fi so guests can log in and stream their own subscriptions.
The main bedroom and the lounge have sliding doors opening to a covered patio with a large dining table, built-in braai, and a plunge swimming pool, as well as a boma with a braai area, and a fire pit. The patio area is elevated and has a lovely view of all the wildlife passing by to say hello and ask for some nibbles.
