The place is beautiful and clean, but the owner is not friendly and doesn't respect people or talk with them nicely.

Privaat, luuks en perfek geleë. Sal weer bespreek.

Stunning plek vir gesin of groep. Privaat, als wat nodig is en meer. Uitstekende ligging en nie 4x4 nodig om rond te ry in estate.

Dit was presies wat ons wou hê om te rus.

Warthogs Rest en Hoedspruit was alles en meer as wat ons verwag het. Dankie weereens aan die webtuiste vir hulle betroubaarheid.

Wow, what an experience.

I absolutely loved this place. Location-wise, it's excellent! The estate is very safe, friendly and there are so many animals to see. At Warthogs we saw a great number of wildlife just sitting by the fire. Warthogs, bush babies, nyalas, steenbokkies, pheasants and plenty of birds. This resort has a luxury feel to it, I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower and the cleaning lady was such a pleasure. I highly recommend Warthogs Rest. I did feel it was slightly overpriced considering loadshedding and that although advertised that picnic lunches are on offer at request; they were not and the pool could have been cleaner. Other than that I had a very pleasant experience and will visit again. The photos do not do it justice. For Wifi, I've given 3 stars due to loadshedding so that is worth taking into consideration.

Rustig, veilig, ruim, netjies en skoon.

Baie geniet, baie naby aan die natuur gevoel met die vlakvark familie reg onder ons neuse. Groot ruim vertrekke en die uitleg van die huis is perfek. Kon geen ander huise sien of hoor. Gevoel ons is alleen, diep in die bosveld. Sal definitief volgende keer langer wil vertoef.

Highly recommended, stunning, comfortable accommodation with absolutely everything you need. Our friends from Holland absolutely loved the environment and the accommodation. A very special place. Denieme was excellent and even couriered my friend's charger & plug back to Jhb that was left behind.

Relaxing and refreshing.

It was a very nice experience and we are definitely going back there. I only wish they can install the solar systems or at least get the generator as a backup when there is load shedding.

Baie lekker hier gebly al was dit baie kort. Sal weer wil gaan en langer bly.

Alles was skoon, netjies en goed ingerig. Die wild is baie mak wat dit 'n opwindende regarding maak veral vir die kinders.

Have candles on guard in case of power failures and TV not working.

Baie rustig en gemaklik.

Kamers was baie goed toegerus en gemaklik. Baie rustige atmosfeer met lekker braai area and stoepie. Alhoewel daar swembad is het ons dit nei gebruik nie weens koel weer. Kombuis, eetkamer en sitkamer lekker gerieflik.

Verjaarsdagwegbreek.

Plek is regtig mooi en goed toegerus, maar die eienaar is baie ongeskik en onbehulpsaam. Skoonmaker kom voor 8 in met dag wat mens moet uitboek om 10. Bitter smaak in mond gelaat.

Heerlike atmosfeer in 'n woonbuurt/landgoed.

Netjiese blyplek met skoon en luukse geriewe, puik toegeruste kombuis en puik geriewe. Die landgoed bied veel meer as wat mens sou verwag en die stapvriendelike omgewing is 'n pluspunt.

Relaxing breakaway in the bush.

We had a lovely stay. The house is well equipped, very tastefully decorated. The boma braai area is perfect, you feel like you are in the middle of the bushveld, splendid! The managing agent is excellent. She made sure we were taken care of and went out of her way to sort out an access issue at the estate gate. Thank you Belinda! One quite big negative is that nowhere on the website, is it mentioned, never mind made clear, that this house is rented out per room. We were under the impression that we had the house to ourselves, which is important to us. I was very disappointed to be told, late on the Saturday, that we would be having house guests. They were no bother but to me that is a very big negative. This is a self-catering house, not a B&B or a guesthouse which one would expect to be rented by the room. I will only book this place again if I am assured that we will have the house to ourselves.

Verblyf was pynlik netjies. Skoon linne en handdoeke! Baie rustige omgewing en baie veilig. Al wat pla is die permanente inwoners om jou se honde wat blaf. Ons sal vir seker weer by Warthog Rest gaan bly.

It was a lovely and peaceful getaway.

I would definitely go again.
