Waterford Holiday Home is a self-catering holiday home located in Witsand, a quaint village situated at the mouth of the Breede River, in the Western Cape. It is known for having the highest concentration of Southern Right Whales on the South African coast, and offers 4 km of white sandy beaches, magnificent Cape fynbos, and a myriad of water sports including fishing, kite surfing.
The simple cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a double bed and has a balcony with a table and chairs. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds. Both bedrooms feature an en-suite bathroom with a small shower which is not suitable for large guests. There are also steep stairs up to the main bedroom which might prove challenging to elderly or infirm guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating space for 4 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a large fireplace. The living area opens up onto a lovely patio area with braai facilities and overlooks the river. There is a smart TV and WiFi available.
There is a gas hob and some load-shedding light bulbs in the house.
