Description
The Waterfront Cottage is a self-catering bungalow set in indigenous forest, with a private beach, on the Western Head opposite the town of Knysna and between Brenton On Lake and Featherbed. The cottage offers easy access, down some wooden stairs, to the beach.
The cottage can accommodate up to 8 adults and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first, second and third bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, and the fourth bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed. Each bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin but they are shared by 2 bedrooms.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a Smeg stove and oven, fridge, and a microwave. A washing machine is available. The dining area contains an 8-seater dining table. There is a small lounge area with a fireplace. DStv and Wi-Fi are available. Outside there is a wide verandah with seating and an 8-seater dining table, where you can watch the world go by. There is a built-in braai facility in the garden.
There is also a 12 seater table under the tree with a lovely firepit.
This area is great for birdwatching, fishing, relaxing and water sports. Guests can enjoy great walks along the beach, or up through the property and through the forest.
