Watsonia Nature Lodge is situated in Scarborough, a secluded seaside Village on the tip of the Cape Peninsula that has been designated a Conservation Village. Scarborough Nature Lodge adjoins Cape Point Nature Reserve, which is part of the Table Mountain National Park. There are a plethora of hiking trails on your doorstep; as well as adventure activities catering to surfers, kite surfers, mountain bikers, climbers, and ocean paddlers. Feel free to ask your host for advice or suggestions.

Accommodation is offered in an immaculate, secluded cottage, perched on the mountainside overlooking the ocean below. The charming cottage is able to accommodate 2 guests and contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a spa bath, a toilet and a washbasin. The unit also has a fully equipped kitchen and living space, which opens up onto the wooden deck with seating area, perfect for breakfast and sundowners in the evening.

To one side of the deck, there is an outdoor shower – it certainly is special to shower surrounded by the branches and leaves of the magnificent Cape rhus tree. Watsonia cottage is built with hand-cut, Table Mountain sandstone, in the heat of the summer days, the cottage is perfectly cool and in the cooler months, the stone absorbs the suns rays, and is lovely and warm. The cottage has wooden floors, folder stacker doors that allow nature to flow in and a wow thatch roof. The cottage has perfect ocean views, is private and self-contained.
